Obama may have a second crisis on his hands

The Supreme Court will now decide whether or not Obama is a natural born citizen, and thus eligible to become president. Thus far, Obama has brushed off allegations and has failed to produce an original birth certificate. Obama apologists have dismissed the issue ever since it was brought up, but it looks like it cannot be ignored any longer. I find it troubling that you don't hear this story in the main stream media, but we can't expect the media darling to be put under any real scrutiny.

This has huge ramifications. Imagine the pressure the Supreme Court is under. I feel they have a duty to, at the very least, hear the case considering what is at stake. If they do, and find Obama to be ineligible to be President, just imagine how the country will react. Think about the outcry from the Obama following. It would be unprecedented, both the potential ruling and the reaction to it.

However, my inner pessimism tells me that even if the Supreme Court hears the case, it will cave in to the enormous pressure that would ultimately result, regardless of the actual findings. A vague and inaccurate ruling would result that will no doubt be against the spirit of the Constitution.
